Woes of everyday living.

It is the typical lazy.sunday.afternoon, the more than perfect time to doze off, leaving your worries and deadlines behind.

And, I am blogging now? Unfortunately, yes, as I am still stuck with that IPR paper that I spoke of. There is a slight problem that puts me off track now - I am thoroughly confused, and totally lazy about the paper. I spent approximately 20 minutes of today's 24 hours brooding on whether I am cut out for the legal field, and whether I have taken the wrong path! All because I just couldnt make myself devote more than 7.5 minutes at a stretch towards completing that paper. Well, I conveniently ended the not.so.pleasant.retrospective.thinking by consoling myself that I will discover in the due course! LOL! I am real smart when it comes to putting off things.

All these brooding.overs apart, something funny happened today. Timmy found out one thing he hated so much about this world - a rubber tyre. A seemingly harmless black circle, a very evolved rubberised version of our primitive man's wheel, and the backbone of automobile (and human) mobility, the C.V of the poor tyre isnt really modest. But that didnt stop my hyperactive boxer boy from attacking it left and right, half expecting some living thing inside the tyre to shout back at him and fight. Well dogs will be dogs, and Timmy wouldnt stop even after I suspended the tyre by a rope.

When the trye could take no more, I started the high strategy rescue mission. I fooled him into believing once again that when I offer him water, it is a genuine desire to help him attack the tyre more ferociously. May be dogs are called dogs because they blindly trust their human counterparts. For all his smart little brains, Timmy was still gobbing on the water greedily, when I ran away with his tyre! The absence took time to dawn on his canine brain, but once this not.so.pleasant piece of info was registered there, he was really really angry at me for having fooled him once more.

He is back to his kennel now, and I am waiting for a cup of hot chai to come to yet again go back to the IPR thingy.
I really really want this paper to be done with, but it rudely refuses to cooperate.

Yes, there is one more pressing problem being faced by me at this time. I live in the eternal hope that when I am stuck home, people at college and elsewhere with whom I have contacts would think about me for some reason or the other, and would send a message or give a ring at times; and nothing gives me the happiness of leaving my mobile unattended to and coming back after some time to find it full of missed calls or unread messages. Well, I did NOT receive any of the above when I just checked my phone now, after say, about three hours. Dammit, contact me people, I am NOT insignificant.

Hoping for more interaction from other parts of the Universe, managing unruly dogs, and sitting morosely over an IP paper that wouldnt budge, I remain, yours ever!
