It's such a busy life! :)

Well, it is partly true - gotta finish my IPR paper by tomorrow morning. Now that's too little a time.

Today was a holiday, but spent most of the day in front of the computer, reading through various articles on "Traditional Knowledge Protection" which is the paper on which I am working on currently.

I am done with "Train to Pakistan" and will give a full account of my experience pretty soon. Would have liked to do it now, but I am really hard pressed for time today. I am posting this only because I wanted to tell you that it rained yesterday night, soon after I blogged, and it was such a relief! :)

Global warming has been getting on my nerves for quite some time now, and the last few months (from Dec. 25th to be precise, the day on which I landed back from the comfy Delhi winter) had been intolerably hot, so terribly hot. Humidity and heat made all of us sweat so much; and I really thought I was melting away in the ruthless heat! I am one of those persons who registers heat last; but this one season had been a virtual hell.

Now, this rain was such a pleasure. It made me realize how THIRSTY, this land and her people were, for a heavenly shower. The rain lasted like about a decent thirty minutes, and the whole of the place felt the blessing! In case you didnt know, it is so nice to have rains.

Yesterday's rain however did not evoke any sorta romantic feelings (romantic as in classic romanticism). I belong to that school of thought which believes that the first few rains in the beginning of the monsoon, has to strictly adhere to its sense of duty, which is to cool down the heat. It is the rains after that threshold limit, that makes you romance the Indian monsoon. Now that will take some more time to come. And, when it does, I will most definitely blog about it.

Till then, attending to the IPR paper, and dreaming about rains, I remain yours ever...
