Oh-so-private!

Well, it might not be oh-so-private; but it is definitely not OH-SO-PUBLIC!
Now, the point that I am trying to drive home is that I might as well start being serious with blogs, you know, just like the "everyday.diary" way!
Being me, it's bound to have a late start. So March 7th is gonna be posted duly and promptly on March 8th.

Well, day begins - Mahima's budday! :)

Calls her and makes Dad wish her too - she seemed to like that pleasant surprise.
And then, then, it is a majorly important day at college - seniors' convocation. And lo! even I get to walk the parade donning fancy robes and hoods and caps, because I am part of the "General Council" [For the uninitiated, please remain so for more years to come. I dont plan to enlighten any of you]

I really couldnt stop grinning with all that and more put on me. Now, listen to the funny part - I actually luurvved it, and well, more than one said I look cute in it. Well, what if "cute" is a polite way of saying "you.dont.look.good,but.then"
Anyways the gist is, I got to wear that, walked the parade, almost holding hands with a teacher I admire a lot for (and only for) his brains and gift of gab. Well, the almost holding hands itself is an exaggeration, but then I am merely being effusive in spirit. :)

Then, sat on the stage with all the very very important invited guests, Justice Cyriac Joseph, my ex-boss (Remember, Delhi 2008 internship at his chamber?) was the Chief Guest. Well, he was funny, atleast he never stopped attempting to be funny. Oh wow, just thought of this. I came to know of what his real real dirty joke was, that joke I really wanted to know. Since, this is NOT "oh.so.private" I will just leave a few trails around. Please pick up the thread, as and when u feel like doing it - Nalini Chidambaram - Adjournment - Chennai - Delhi - MP! *evil grin* ;)

Guess what, Dad comes, sits in the front row, and dozes off, when my ex.boss just wouldnt shut up; and I get prompt msgs - thanks to my friends!

Oh yes, the seniors went on their "official" excursion yesterday. Have to admit, I was a bit jealous of them; but then I am pretty sure, even our batch will have something that will resemble a trip - a trip of some sorts.

Yea, this is getting pretty boring. I am calling it quits. But then, add to the day a pretty costly facial clean up at SPLASH, a planned adventure with Ms.Bday Girl.
Hmm, life goes on right? I really have to go on, take a quick bath and settle with that "oh.so.boring" IPR paper on Traditional Knowledge.
Wish me luck, wont u?
